The Taschenbergpalais, built in 1709 by August the Strong and located amongst baroque-style buildings, was reopened as a luxury hotel in 1995. Standard rooms are large and spacious, about 30 square meters in size. Superior rooms offer even more space and comfort. Both categories of rooms come fully equipped. Each room has an in-room safe, mini bar, radio, television, two telephones with ISDN lines as well as fax and PC connections. Bathrooms have amenities such as heated towel racks, floor heating, magnifying mirrors, hairdryers and telephones. Each one has a full bathtub and some have an additional separate shower.
